Voice Lessons

I found my love for teaching during my undergraduate studies while working in general music and chorus classrooms. After graduating, I taught early childhood music for three years in Brookline, Massachusetts while also studying voice, singing in choirs and operas, and teaching privately. My interest in vocal pedagogy led me to pursue my Master’s degree at Penn State where I was fully immersed in teaching one-on-one and small group voice lessons as well as performing in operas and singing solo repertoire.

I create a fun and engaging atmosphere for students where mistakes are encouraged and even the smallest wins are celebrated. I love seeing both vocal and personal growth in my students and I feel lucky to share my passion for music.

My studio is based in Toronto.

“Though my time with Ali as my voice teacher was short, it was extremely beneficial. She is professional and consistent, and I learned a lot from her. As a result of studying with her, I was chosen as a soloist on multiple occasions. She is highly knowledgeable, and communicates her knowledge excellently.” -Beth L.

“It was a great pleasure working with Ali, and I know that I would still be far less comfortable with my voice had it not been for the classes with her." -Veronika V.

“At the age of 13 Ali was my first vocal instructor and she made each lesson fun but also productive. I learned a lot of new skills that have helped me grow vocally.” -Corrine T.
